Lisa M Magarelli-Dallaire earned a Master's of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2015 with high distinction. She has been working in the opioid addiction treatment field as a Clinician, Manager and Program Sponsor for the past 8 years. With much success in her career, she launched Rebuild as a non-profit alternative in hopes to eliminate any barriers to treatment and to continue to create that "something different" in the opioid treatment recovery community. That "something different" is about getting people well; body, mind and spirit. Lisa also served as a member on the Board of the Arizona Opiate Treatment Coalition for 6 years and has become an expert in the field of opiate addiction treatment and the multitude of resources available for full recovery; mind, body and spirit. That said, has walked beside over 100 clients graduate from Medication Assistant Treatment (MAT) after working with them diligently, to achieve and exceed their own life goals.
The vision of a 501c3 nonprofit charity model was formed so there would be a Board of Directors whose fundamental responsibility is to oversee the direction of the organization. In this way, the vision and mission of the nonprofit will always be upheld for the betterment of the clients, invaluable employees and community as a whole. There will be no great divide. Also in this light, both clients and employees will have the ratio of support they need for the nonprofit to fulfill its promise to them, and together, can fulfill the mission and vision for the community. A nonprofit built by the people, for the people because EVERYBODY MATTERS!
Vince is the man that is literally behind the scenes... remodeling the entire Evan's House for those struggling with addiction and need a place to recover.
Little did he know, his son Mason would be passing away 2.16.2022 from a fentanyl overdose. Mason was found alone when he died. If anyone is struggling with substance abuse, the worst place to be is alone.
He has now dedicated his life to serving those who struggle with addiction and is venturing to rural communities for outreach with his wife, Lisa, spreading the word about overdose prevention, and harm reduction.
Starting as a new graduate, with boots on the ground, Lisa's interest peaked in addiction medicine, utilizing Medication Assisted Treatment and Behavioral Health Interventions in the fight against the opioid epidemic plaguing our nation. Lisa has always been disciplined in the ongoing development and training of her own professional career as a counselor. Community relations and education coupled with grant writing and marketing efforts were also areas of great awareness for her as a motivated clinician in this field of study. This has all been accomplished superiorly all while providing quality, compassionate, effective client care.
In her management experience, she has worked closely with SAMHSA and AZDHS to effectively organize and run a medical and behavioral health program. Aligning with federal guidelines, safety protocol and incident reporting were a few of many responsibilities requiring a wealth of knowledge and acute attention. Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills some of her attributes necessary to effectively engage with clients, families, colleagues and professional members of the community to efficiently manage a practice all while keeping attune to all legalities within the practice.
Promoted to Program Sponsor, Lisa has experience being responsible for all operations of the Clinic and the implementation of all program compliance with Federal and State credentialing and licensing bodies; this includes the medical and clinical department. In collaboration with the Registered Nurse Manager and Medical Director, October 2021 this position then spearheaded the 3rd audit from The Joint Commission Accreditation body. This was including but not limited to being responsible for writing, revising and implementing all facility policies and procedures and then directly correlating them to all the Standards and Elements of Performance criteria required by the accreditation body. This was an ultimate task, making the facility a Gold Standard Opioid Treatment and Behavioral Health Provider. Additionally, December 2021 flawlessly passed the 3rd DEA audit and was formally requested by their diversion control officer to work collaboratively with the DEA to join efforts to prevent diversion in the community.
